Nacel Australia offers the following programs for adults;

Language Teaching Assistants - LTA

Nacel Australia offers graduates to Australian schools as teaching assistants in their natural language. These young teachers are looking for the opportunity to participate in a work experience program in Australia and offer fantastic resource for the school. Most LTA’s are in the school for 1 – 2 terms however this is up to the school to determine. There is no cost or administration for the school as Nacel Australia offers pastoral care and airport transfers for the LTA whilst they are in Australia. We do ask the school to assist in finding a host family or room in a boarding house for the LTA for the duration of the program. We have graduates from France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Brazil to mention a few destinations eager to experience school and community life in Australia. Chaperones

Nacel Australia sends chaperones with the students on all programs to assist with the flights, the arrival and to maintain contact during the stay in country. This is the first level of support offered to the students when embarking on one of our programs and is one of our strengths. Local staff are also allocated to each student in country that also maintain contact with the student, the host family and the host school. We are recruiting for chaperones for 2012 summer programs to Europe that range from 4, 6, 8 & 10 weeks in duration. Exchange Student Coordinator

Nacel Australia has been operating student exchange opportunities for high school students for over 20 years throughout Australia, Europe, the Americas and Asia. We have a strong support network in place for our students that include contact during preparation, chaperones during transit and contact staff whilst in the host country. This level of support gives our families a great deal of confidence that the students are well monitored and have access to support 24/7 whilst they experience a new culture.

Nacel Australia is looking for Exchange Student Coordinators to that will assist the mostly European and Australian students settle in to their environment in Australia. We have students across the country in CBD and regional areas and we need coordinators with the following attributes;

• The ability to work independently, there is training and ongoing support however the coordinators work from home and meet students and families in their own time.
• Some experience in education would be an advantage, either teaching, administration or pastoral care services.
• Be comfortable with MS Office applications, attachments and online. There is minimal administration to complete however it has very clear deadlines that need to be met.
• Have an interest and experience in travel, languages and discovering other cultures.
• Possess empathy for high school age students in another country trying to assimilate into a new family & school environment and mediate these concerns between the host family, school and the student.
